Hi Bamsa
Ah, "he" is so pretty!! I didn't saw the young ones yesterday, it was a bit late and they were probably hiding somewhere. This is soo cool to see them in action, live! I found a handy "translation-tool" for bird’s name here.

I saw them yesterday evening. I think they put them self there, in the evening. This is actually the roof of the hotel in Torshavn, and the roof is quite big, so they can be in the other end right now, they will come to the nest (in the front of the camera) just check it out later

Ok, I'll do that!
Is this the roof, I thought that it was a hill, and railway tracks in the front! weired how one can see wrong.

You are right it looks like a railway. They made the hotel in a way, that it almost can't be seen from up (because of the grass on the roof). And by the way we don't have railways in the Faroe Islands.

You don't have railways !! I didn't knew.

So, do you (and Andreea) live near the hotel, can one see your roof from the webbcam?

Yes we live close to the hotel.

You can't see our roof from that webcam, but from another webcam, at the same page, and it is not easy to find

Hej Pia. Hvad jeg mente er, at Færøerne først
"tilhørte" Norge og så Sverige og tilsidst Danmark. Nu her Færøerne faktisk deres egen selvstændighed, men hører stadigvæk en smule til Danmark. Kender du ikke Bob Marleys sang : STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS." Det var det jeg mente . Stå op og slås for din ret. (ret til at være et selvstændigt land. Jeg ved ikke om du kan forstå noget af det her .

I am afraide that the birds have left the roof, but maybe they will be back next year.

And by the way the Faroe Islands don't belong to Denmark. The Faroe Islands and Greenland are part of the Danish Kingdom together with Denmark.

Yes ...I have neither seen them for a while, but that's a good sign, they are flying now.

Is it the same birds that keep coming back ..year after year ?

We have Yellow-legged Gull here that nesting on our roof year after year. (same birds!)

You are right, it is a good sign.

The birds always comes back around 12 of march, and when it is close to winter, it leaves again. They say it goes for Wales, and even to France, so maybe Francky or JP can put a webcam there to show us what the birds do France when it is cold
