JP,

The wiki "Notification" had some articles machine-translated into (horrible) Portuguese. Is there a way to know who did it? And is there a way to block this from being done?

Best regards,

I don't see anything... maybe I have not the rights, as I'm just a normal member...

Anyway, if you go on the "Latest modifications (Portuguese)", you can see who is this guy...

Nava,

Thank you very much for that. I had already found who is doing that crap...

I think Rodrigues did them, I've sent a private message to him. Luckily I hadn't activated these email notifcations.

I will have to remove all of them. [edit] I have removed all of them [/edit]

Rodrigues is already limited to only german translations because of this but the blocking does not work for wiki translations. I think I will have to extend the blocking to iki translations...

It wasn't the intention to write bad.
AND IT WASN'T MACHINE-TRANSLATED.
Ok - good, that I didn't continued with the other texts which are still open.
Will stop.

Sorry, but I'd communicated w/ a brazilian in the last time, have send him some translations (nothing with cucumis), and he said, that it was very good.
Therefor I'd trusted me to translate...
sorry again. Just stopped.

OK Rodrigues, no problems. The problem is that I wouldn't like somebody receive an email with "(horrible) Portuguese" like said Goncin

I think it is unfair to say someone used a machine, without proof. That's a task no one wants, right? Call such bad translations what they are: nonsense, grammatically correct small pieces that do not fit together. Some Americans would call them "mangled".

Una, well I think you are right
If you don't know whether he has used a machine or not, you should not accuse the person of doing that!
