I was on the chat with Dramati, and we came up with a nice idea.

In most of the northern hemisphere we are entering the snowy period.

Dramati makes a snowman every year and hopes to be able to do one this week 'he's expecting snow).

I suggest we take photos of our snowmen (or women) and post them in this thread.

What do you think?

Nice idea, Tantine!

When I'll go to the beach in January, I would make a sandman and take a picture of it...

I had never seen snow...

Or those without snow can make one with cotton wool

I only wish that we have snow in my town.. just frost and a tiny, tiny layer of snow, it will not be enough for a snowman!
Wish that I have a GOOD camera to, hm..mine is realy old ..no connection to the computer. Anyway..I'm looking forward to see yours..sandy or snowy figures.

Is it really necessary to register somewhere? Because I'm very careful with registrations on the internet...

I think that you must register, at least at "photobucket" , but if you have your own webbsite you could link from there...
Do you?

BTW, I just learned today (from my wife) that "snowman" is said also "gelinho" ('little ice') in Portuguese.

I used to know only "boneco de neve"

I'll do it like it is always done in magazines for cosmetic surgery - before and after, just this time, it doesnt look better afterwards

before

after (it looks a bit anorexic here )

Hi Nathan
I'll hope you have a nice time in Austria.

That was maybe a stupid question from me... I guess they have snow, why not.

First of all: This picture was taken from 2006, so it says nothing about the present weather condition

Concerning snow at the moment - ehmm in the mountains there's a lot (I've even already been skiing last weekend I'm just lovin´ it =) ) but in the plain (for example where I live) there's only a few millimetres and a strange snowy fog. But I guess you'll prefer the mountains anyway, Nathan, so nothing to worry about. At least I hope so.

There is snow in Spain now, well in the mountains of course, but I'm surprised you don't have it yet in Sweden, Pia. There are ski resorts at 50 kms from Madrid, did you know that? There is only a problem for me, if I get to go there any time soon I'm afraid I wouldn't spend a single minute making a snowman, I just love too much skiing, snowblading to be exact.
