Some questions about the site :

1. Is there a place where you can review all the messages you sent in this site?

In a while, I will not remember all the threads I was involved in and I would like to follow some of them.

Is it possible?

2. Why some people have their name in orange and others in green?

3. How to put a hyperlink in a thread?

4. How to put the text in bold, as I saw this in some messages?

Thank you.

1 . No but it's in the (long) todolist

2 . Orange for admins (moderators).

3 . for the link click here

4 . for bold bold text

There is an article explaining the snytax, can't find it, now, but I'm sure somebody will post the link

Hi, hanternoz!

Well, let's follow the numbers:

1. Sorry to say, there isn't such a place (yet). But, for threads where you checked "Notify me when a reply is posted", you'll be notified by e-mail when a new message was posted on them.

2. People with names in orange are administrators on Cucumis.org; those with a monkey wrench can edit and delete anyone's requests and those without it can edit and delete forum messages. People in bold green are experts (they evaluate translations). People in normal green are, well, normal members.

3. and 4. Here's a very short syntax reference.

Hope it helps,

Thank you all, "monkey wrenchers" :-)

And I hope the collection will go on the top of the list in a while (I'm an optimistic believer!)

So I'm used to edit articles in Wikipedia, the syntax in this site will not be a hard job to learn, I guess!

What I don't see is the smileys' syntax. But probably as usual. Let's try : :-), :-(, ;-). No, it doesn' work :-(. OK, I'll discover later how to do it.Let's go back to work.

hanternoz,
just "click" the green link "Post a message" before you write and look under the message square, All the green smileys are there!

Well, on my browser there is nothing under the message square, but the message "Notify me when a reply is posted", the blue button with an white arrow inside, and, below on the left, a strange message : link=f_rs_0_1686, put into brackets.

I guess it is not the date of creation for the site!

In this link I can see the smileys. Thank you, goncin.

I understand I should use "post a message" than the immediate square at the end of a thread. Got it!
