I have tried to make a translation for a word from English to Faroese. In Faroese language, as in Romanian or German, every adjective has three different formes according to the gender of the navn. Why do I not have the possibility to offer the right translation in the field reserved to that?

Hi, good question.
Actually, cucumis should not be used to ask for simple word translations, as it's more the job of a dictionnary.
The main translation field is reserved for the best translations. As the default gendre is "male", if there is no more indication in the context of the translation, you choose this gender. But you can, and you are encouraged to, use the comments field of your submitted translation, to add more details, including the 2 other genders forms.

This process is set to maintain a realistic list of equivalent sizes for each languages.
