I really would like to learn a decent Icelandic (and Finnish too), because the only things I know are a few phrases and words, and the material here is a little rare.
Thanks a lot to anyone to help me.
I can teach some portuguese for exchange.

That's because they are almost the same in swedish.

There is a site which gives basics of the Icelandic language: http://www.mentalcode.com/icelandic/ Maybe it can help you.

I am sorry I can not help you too much. I speak only Faroese and, even Icelandic has a lot of resemblence with it, is still a diferent language.

I once wanted to learn faroese too.
Maybe one day all the germanic languages.
