The two above sections are different "hints" in reverence to a particular puzzle on a Japanese game. (King's Field Additional II)

A screenshot of the uncompleted puzzle:
http://anon.swordofmoonlight.com/screen.jpg

There are 4 picture buttons, each being able to toggle through 5 pictures total. The pictures appear to be a Sun, Moon, Fire, Flame Ball and a gust of wind.

The English dialect is for the United States. Resolution would be GREATLY appreciated.

• Wall surface memo B is a hint for solving the wall surface puzzle in the north.

Threatening the Heavens is hellfire of frenzy/ The wing’s demand is melancholy moon. Right below the wing is the bright sun / The maiden’s theft is that sunlight. Hide it in the earth and chaos will come / Roadside idol / Duct to that land

• After stepping in the old altar, and returning to the town, can hear one more hint from the poet.

Threatening the Heavens is hellfire of frenzy/ The wing’s demand is melancholy moon. Right below the wing is the bright sun / The maiden’s theft is that sunlight. Hide it in the earth and chaos will come / Roadside idol / Duct to that land

For the puzzle of steep path of chain lock,
if upper right is made sun, lower right is made water, upper left is made moon,
then can go to the old altar;
if upper right is made fire, lower right is made moon, lower left is made sun, upper left is made sun,
then can go to the mysteries of the wise man.

If someone checks this, I suggest a Japanese person checks it, because it has some tricky poetry - like phrases. The 4th paragraph repeats the 2nd paragraph.

Here you are.

Copy/paste it here and then remove the Japanese from the text.

Please, cj,
Any comment about features, improvements you may suggest or different points of view about the management of the site should be placed in the forum, not under a translation, OK?

Your post:

This was my first translation on cucumis, and I put the English and Japanese side by side. That was my mistake. Someone deleted it. A better procedure would to email me to point out my mistake.
Actually, even BETTER would be a side-by-side option. In some cases, side-by-side is very useful.

BTW, nothing is deleted here. Everything is recorded, it's just that not every member has access to all the pages

Yup, I'm getting your messages, all right: and everyone else's as well, with requests for checking the romanized Japanese in so many translations.
And I'm really really busy at university now with the new term starting up, and I've got a ten-page translation of a medical report that I have to do this weekend (i.e. I will have no weekend) and I have been sick with the flu for the last two weeks, coughing and blowing my nose all day, and I have to teach private classes until past 9pm every night except Sunday, and I also hope to sometimes be able to talk with my children as much as possible (daughter, 8, son, 13) while they still want to talk with me, and it would also be nice to have much more time with my wife than I now have, just to relax and talk together and be more of a husband to her...
But I still try to answer each of my e-mails here at , letting people know the meaning of texts that are often garbage Japanese anyway...
And this text is a collection of cryptic hints for playing a video game, and I certainly don't waste my time playing video games and don't want my children to, either. And the other text is a collection of ugly Japanese slang phrases that probably come from a manga or another one of these video games. And they are both too long...
I am indeed an expert here, but I really don't have much time in my already-far-too-busy life for it, so I guess I'll just keep on doing what I can do here, as much as possible, without destroying my jobs, my health or my relationships...
That said, I do indeed thank and respect you for doing the lion's share of all the English expert work here on . I also hope you are enjoying it and getting a lot out of it, and it's nice to be able to correspond with you about interesting translations sometimes!
