Översättning - Om du dömer en bok... (Svenska)

jag håller med dig om att den engelska texten är svår att tyda...och den första översättningen som Piagabriella gjorde ÄR korrekt översatt, men den ger ingen mening, svår att förstå..

Yes, the English is fine. I think it is meant to be a poem. The logic is off: If you judge a book by the cover doesn't follow the logic of the second part: "Then you'd judge the look by the lover." is inconsistant. To follow the logic it would read, "Then you would judge the lover by the look." But it was suppose to be a poem, so if they want the words to work out, then cover and lover go together no matter what the logic.

Vad tror du om att bara vända på orden:

"Om du dömer en bok efter omslaget
så skulle du döma älskaren efter utseendet"

Jeg er enig med Dramati, men hvis man sammenholder det med det faktum, at forfatteren til oversættelsen ber om "kun betydning" ser sagen lidt anderledes ud, da det netop ikke giver megen mening
Jeg vil stadigvæk holde fast i det logiske, som netop vil give en mening..

Yes, I could agree with Pias variant, but probably we should comment it in some way since the english text has another meaning (despite its lack of logics). I think we should put my original translation in the comments and write a short explanation. Or just a short explanation that... well I have think about exactly what to write.
