Færøernes national fugl

Not far from where I live there's a small island named Chausey , where many birds from Scandinavia like to stay for a while.

Actually Chausey islands there are several very little islands, (better link)

Nice to live near an archipelago like that Franck ....I must admit that I never heard about the islands there, maybe I should have since I read that it's also a "world inheritance of Unesco".

your links. I have read all about it. You are really lucky to live not far from there. That's my dream. I would have loved to live in a place like this. I love nature, those kind of landscapes. I'm sure that I would be able to find peace in a place like this. It's really great, that we can speak about things like that on cucumis, and share things together. I love animals, birds and the countryside, and I can see that I'm not the only one. Things like that

I saw it Francky and it is our national bird because it spend the sommer at our place every year. The Faroese name of it is Tjaldur. So, hvat is the National bird of France?

...Yes, they don't understand your language Bamsa. I heard that this bird is common, in Europe, even parts of Asia, but I didn't knew that they live by you too. Yes, they are nice...at wintertime we can't hear them, even if they are around. (I don't think that they are migrating birds?)
