Some cucumis.org users have repeatedly asked for Latin translations of "Lorem Ipsum".

So, I will post here the explanation, and will link here whenever this explanation is required:

"Lorem Ipsum" is a dummy text employed by publishers to present samples of final layout to their clients, containing a piece that may not call atention to content itself.
It has been used since 16th century, based on excerpts of a work of Cicerus (45 b.C.).

Traduzione in italiano

mmh, I thought to create a multi-language topic here, to add other translations in this same topic, so when someone needs to create a link (as suggested by joner) about lorem ipsum, he can simply direct the link here and everyone will be able to read lorem ipsum explanation in his own language.
if we create different posts in different forums, it will take more time to choose the right page to link (italian? or english? or german?...).
AND every choose you take, you exclude the other languages: if you choose to link to the english forum, and an italian user follows the link, he won't see the italian translation.

in other words: I suggest to use this topic as a multilanguage "help page", rather then a forum topic.

Yes it's good idea. In this case, it's better to create a wiki article, which has one version for each language and which can be accessed with one link.

It's in Lorem Ipsum Wiki Article.
All we have to do is to code like this:
[ link=k_v_88 ]Lorem Ipsum Wiki Article[ /link ].

PS: without spaces before/after brackets .

talking about help section...

I think some useful wiki articles (for example "avatar", "cucumis sintax and keywords"...) should have a link in the help section.

perhaps it's only a question of time (I know jp's list of "things to be done" is veeery long ) and we just have to wait a bit.
or there's already a link and I'm not able to find it...

Yes you're right these articles might be put somewhere in the help section. We cuold alos add a link to "syntac and rules" closed to the message form.
I also wanted to write a tutorial with screen captures, and step by step procedure to help new users to find and make their first translation. But as I'm thinking about the "search by preferences" function, the itnereface will change a little bit soon so we'd better wait before writing this tutorial.
