Translate or transcribe names of companies?

A (probably) simple question: should names of companies be translated (when that is possible) or just transcribed? I am asking kind of generally. I think I would prefer to just transcribe them, but I am not so sure.

Name translation are a very delicate question in Cucumis. As from October 2007 we started to remove every request regarding personal names.

For company names, there's no decision yet. I would recommend you to just transcribe them, until better judgement.
