We do such a great job working together to translate texts, how about working together to write a great Wikipedia article that explains what Cucumis is all about? I propose we do it on the English Wikipedia:

Well, this is nice.

I tried it before Una, there was a discussion about spam... and it was removed...

Is it new? Is it ok? Very good news.

The English WP article has been there since July 2007. So far I have been its only editor. A WP article is not an advertisement, and it would be inappropriate for JP to write it, and we must be careful to ensure a "neutral point of view", but Cucumis.org does meet all WP criteria including notability.

Yes, maybe I couldn't make that neutral point of view, yours is very nice, thank you Una.

Hey that's nice
I have 2 remarks :

I think this page ( http://www.cucumis.org/help_1_h/p_le_.html ) is also an interesting statistic about how many characters each language needs to tell the same thing.

I'm not sure about the 7/10 to become expert. Actually it has never been an important parameter to become expert, even if usually experts have a good rating. Most of the time, the experts are chosen by the other experts according to many parameters (translations done, accuracy, communication, etc...).

thatha, when a translation from english to portuguese is accepted, I just count the number of characters on each side. With the amount of translations we do here, it's a quite realistic average equivalence between languages.
