| Thatha - don't worry, I have the same two problems!
For the first one, I use to copy the text before I CC someone, because otherwise, the message would just disappear. This is really strange!
And the deformed page looks the same on my computer - perhaps Francky knows some tricks to bewitch the message-box? |

| I like the word "deformed" a lot. |

| About the deformed page, it's because of the floating image ( flimg ) in the post of Francky. I know there are some pb with it.
For the post pb, I'm concerned about this. It's not the first time I see very weird things with this... Don't know why some forms are submitted twice...
thatha and iam, are they new pb or is it old pb ? |

| Mmm... there's a while (less than a month) I was having this problem, but I did just like Iam (↠nice) said, I copied it before.
At the first time I got so mad, because I wrote a big text and then it dissapeared! But I pressed backspace and it was there.. ooff.
Ei Casper, this word reminds me the "deformed baby" in mundocanibal...

| I have not had any of these problems.
iamfromaustria, a tip about English: "I use to copy" should be "I copy" or "I always copy", at least I think that's what you mean. If you mean the habitual past tense, it's "I used to copy". |

| Oh, this watermelon likes you very much... |

| I don't remember how long I already have this problem, but it's really annoying... And I don't think it's only Thatha's and my problem - perhaps the other Cucumers and Cucumisses have also already got used to copying the message.
I know this is another form of "used" that doesn't really match with your examples given, but thanks anyway, kafetzou. Although I use (here we have it again!) English every day, I can't really improve it if nobody tells me how to. But I have to admit, that I'm probably not as careful when posting an ordinary message at Cucumis (not a translation!) as I would be when writing an essay of a greater importance. Wow, this has become a really long note... |

smyNumber of messages: 2481 | I'm having the same problem when I am about to CC to someone (not everytime but most of the time when I click on the "notifications" link), the page refreshes itself and the text I had written disappears , so I learnt to copy my message before clicking on it and later on I've learned that my text comes back when I click on the "back page" button but I haven't experienced a "deformed page" like Thathavieira's yet ! |

piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Me too, having the same "problem".
Not a big problem anyway, I do exactly the same as you...copy/paste...and it works good. |
| 28 January 2008 16:17 |
| Interesting - I still have not had this problem. I guess you could click on the notifications before you write your message. |
| 28 January 2008 17:16 |
piasNumber of messages: 8113 | WOW..I discovered something now.
Yes, you are right kafetzou about that one should click the notification BEFORE writing, but my problem WAS that I often like to add a "smiley". (And I don't realy know how to type everyone on the keyboard ..so I use the method by click on them.)I didn't found out UNTIL NOW that you could click the "post a message" button first, then the "notification" button.. and wow..the smileys is still there...in the bottom of the page!! (below the looong expert list) So...now I neither have that problem! |
| 28 January 2008 17:24 |
| Oh! I didn't know you could do that - cool! |
| 28 January 2008 17:43 |
| But my problem is, that I often do not know that I will CC someone, when starting to type a message. I agree with Pia though, that it's not a huge problem copying the message before the site refreshes itself... |
