| I've got a problem... Let's see if you can help me... Someone very special gave me a very beautiful necklace as a birthday present. Ok... the problem is that it has got something written in Arabic, or I don't know what language it is! And I can't know what it means As I have no idea of Arabic, I can't even type the characters with the special keyboard, so I don't know what to do... Maybe if I put a photo of it here, where the writing is seen...
So, in conclusion:
- I don't know what it means.
- I don't know the language.
- I could put a photo that I took of it, but I still don't know how to put photos here... Amazing!
Let's see if you can help me... I'll be glad!
Thanks in advance!
Kisses!

| I think it looks like Hindi, why don't you ask drkpp, the Hindi expert? (If it's Hindi at all...)
(Hmm, I have no idea how to CC a message) |

| Hmmm... I'll ask him in his Inbox cause I don't know how to CC neither!

| Urunghai, he says it isn't Hindi... He says it can be Urdu or Arabic.
By the way, thank you for helping me! |

| Hello Mireia,
Apart from being a member here at cucumis.org, I am also a registered member at the ShakiraMedia.com forum.
I took your link there as there are a number of Middle Eastern members. All of them were unable to decipher what the pendant said.
There were, however, two main ideas concluded:
1)That the text isn't Arabic and doesn't say anything at all or 2) It is Arabic, but not modern, so perhaps a university scholar in ancient texts would be your best bet.
Sorry I could not help you more. |

| Oh, thank you really much Lahmeik! It's a pity that we couldn't know its meaning...
That necklace was bought in Turkey, and I want to know what it means, I will get it!
Again, thanks for helping me!
A kiss!

| it's a part of the holy quran.
The first sentence is :
in the name of god, the Beneficent , the merciful.
It's probably sura Al Fatiha:
In the name of God , the Beneficent , the Merciful
Praise be to God , Lord of the Worlds ,
The Beneficent , the Merciful .
Owner of the Day of Judgment,
Thee alone we worship ; Thee alone we ask for help .
Show us the straight path,
The path of those whom Thou hast favored ; Not ( the path ) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who astray .
Have a look here |
