For a good translationImprovement
Results 1 - 4 of about 4 | | | 10 May 2008 19:01 | | I saw that there are a lot of translation requested for languages spoken in places so distand on Earth. I mean...how many people could speak both Japanese and Hebrew to guarantee a good translation? How many speaks Albanian and Tagalog at the same?
It's simpler to find someone who is a good english and japanese speaker, and in the meanwhile to find a second person who is a good english and Hebrew speaker.
So, with just two step, there could be a fast translation from Japanese to Hebrew (or from Albanian to Tagalog)
Here you are my thoughts: why don't u write, just as a tip, when someone asks for a translation "Hey! keep in mind that some languages are spoken by few cucumis users. Even if it's not your request, try to ask for a translation into English or French too, so someone can translate the sentence you need from English (or french) into the language you choose". | | 10 May 2008 19:09 | | Hi Cammello,
At the bottom of this submission page there is a text which advises the requester exactly what you suggest. Maybe we should enhance the text so that it will be noticed better. | | 11 May 2008 01:29 | | I've edited text at the page you linked with the whole text in bold, have a look and tell me if you find it more easily readable now, Lilian. | | 12 May 2008 20:15 | | Yep, and as we discussed it a few month ago, I plan to set one day an automatic bridge procedure that will add english to the list of requested languages after a couple of weeks. |
