Help an expert during evaluationImprovement
Results 1 - 2 of about 2 | | | 12 May 2008 00:04 | | Yep, i'm a new user...a newbie, so if i write something that you already know, please excuse me
i found something silly! At first i supposed it was an error...just something that happened and it won't anymore. But it happened again and again: i explain!
1) A person asked to translate a text from Latin to english. I did it and i sent the translation online...as it's used to be.
After a while, i saw a request for help by an expert...to evaluate my own translation!!! It's normal that i'll say it's right! i was the one who translated it!
2) i asked for help to have a translation from Greek to "French-english-italian" (yes, 3 languages). Now, the website asked me to help an expert into evaluating this translation!
it' really weird! how can i evaluate it if i asked for such a translation just because...i cannot do it by my own!
Isn't it possible to avoid to send the request for "helping an expert" to the people who translated the text or who asked for it? | | 12 May 2008 20:22 | | Hi,
Yep, you have this remark very often (already here for example).
We invite users to help for evaluations filtering only by the languages you can read in your profile. the system doesn't look if you are the author of the translation. As we get many remarks about this, maybe I will add a filter later. TODO list . |
