| I need a Spanish-English translation for a website. The text has 448 characters (spaces included). And i will give to the translator 400 point.
Why don't i use the cucumis system?
Because Google penalize the duplicate content (when the same paragraps are in Cucumis and my website). Therefore, i need to use a temporal system.
A tip: The website is a free ebooks search engine. If you need more information just ask. |

| Just use the "private" flag when submitting your translation request and google will not see your content. |

| Where is the "private" flag? Is it the "This text is public and/or the author authorizes cucumis.org to publish it online once it has been translated" check box?? |

| Under the Remarks about the translation box:
[] This text is public and/or the author authorizes cucumis.org to publish it online once it has been translated
If you are not sure, don’t select this option.
Be careful, if the text is not authorized to be published on cucumis.org, it is automatically deleted 8 weeks after submission. |

| Aja. Yo he utilizado la opción "privada" para todas las traducciones que he pedido, sin embargo muchas de ellas todavÃa están en Cucumis y son vistas por Google. En una de ellas, por ejemplo, los administradores me cambiaron la traducción de privada a pública: http://www.cucumis.org/translation_1_t/view-the-translation_v_61524.html
Es por ello que no confÃo mucho en la private flag. |

| Aproposito ¿es posible pedir que esas traducciones que no fueron eliminadas en su momento sean eliminadas ahora? |

| Jreyest, the messages in this forum are supposed to be written in English so that our webmaster is able to understand and therefore answer them. I know your English is excellent, but just to save time I'm reproducing here those messages you wrote in Spanish, into English to jp, OK?

"Aha, I have checked the private mode for all the translations I requested, however some of them are still on Cucumis and can be seen by Google. In one of them, for example, the administrators changed the flag from private to public:
http://www.cucumis.org/translation_1_t/view-the-translation_v_61524.html
That's why I don't really trust the private flag.

By the way... Is it possible that those translations which weren't removed at the right moment, are removed now?

| jreyest, on the example url you provided, the text is declared to be pulic "This text is public and/or the author authorizes cucumis.org to publish it online once it has been translated". Are you sure you asked it to be private when requesting ? You can edit it to make it private if you wish.
when a request is private, the url is not yet visible by visitors. It doesn't appear on the lists neither, but if somebody has bookmarkde the url, it will be able to view it if s/he is logged in. |

| Thank you for your clarification. And yes, i am sure, i didn't check the "public" box.
Finally, how can i edit a requested translation to make it private? |
