It would be important to know if someone is available to translate directly from one language to another, let's say from Romanian into Swahili. We would know what kind of translators are needed and people could try to translate texts using an intermediary language (english, french, german, etc.)
Maybe some statistics would be helpful as well, like 154 users with Romanian as mother toungue, 10000 users with english, etc. 3 users Swahili-mother tongue (and 5 users able to translate into Swahili, but not natives). It would give an idea about time and quality. I hope the idea is clear. I know it takes some time to develop software, but it would be good information, regarding to know what this system has to ofer. How powerful it is and what are its missings.

Wish you all the best!

Yes but it's a nice suggestion. that would help to know when you submit a request from X to Y that there are N active translators for this pair.

Hi!
In addition to this, I suggested that we might know who is active (who translates and/or ask translations).
There are too many "members" who are just visitors. On the other hand, if visitors did not need to sign up, it was no longer a problem.

Happy new year, to all "active" members!
