(1). Before employing, the employer must provide its business registration information or the inquiry path thereof, so the applicant translator can search such information on local official website according to the information provided by the employer.
(2). After verification of the information, the translator can consider cooperation with the employer, and sign a contract. For any future dispute, any party can file a litigation based on this contract.
(3). If the employer is not registered business or other organizations, who is recruiting translators publicly or privately, should be removed from the list of cooperation.
(4). A professional translator can seek help from other translators, only limited to the case that said translator must be proficient in that language he/she translates, and can provide proofreading or review on this source-target translation; or else, his/her request for help shall be removed from the list of cooperation.
(5). A professional translator can provide translation service to other individual persons, only if he/she knows this person in reality, and DO NOT cooperate with someone you are unfamiliar in real world!
(6). When cooperating with unfamiliar persons, a professional translator shall ask the employer to provide his/her personal identity card information or photocopy thereof, to verify the real information of the employer, and sign a contract before accepting such person-person task.
(7). For any litigation, legal cost is a must, so it is very necessary to define the clause of default fine/punishment, for the sake that the translator can recover his compensation for the work, plus litigation cost, and the punishment on the employer who won't pay part or all of the prices of the translation done.
The final point is very important because some scam has a precondition that the contract price is much lower than the litigation cost in local juridicial rules.
