What does translation in standby mean?How does it work?
Results 1 - 5 of about 5 | | | 11 February 2014 15:15 | | I noticed that another person has already asked it in the forum (three years ago!!) and no ever answered him, so I have to ask it again. What does it mean? And why aren't basic things like that explained anywhere on this site?
Thank you. | | 11 February 2014 16:30 | ![](../avatars/84171.img) piasNumber of messages: 8114 | It means that the request is not active for translation yet
* sometimes the requester lack points, so the request will be in stand-by until he/she has earned some.
* An expert (or admin) can also put a request in sb if something is unclear and things needs to be checked before a member translate it !
* Doubble account
Can't remember more scenarios/explanations, hope it helps : ) | | 11 February 2014 18:38 | | Yes, that makes sense.
Apparently, my request got put on standby because it's a "big request (cost greater than 500)". I have no idea what the standby in supposed to accomplish in this case, but well, I guess they know best.
Well, I'll just have to hope they get it sorted out soon.
Thank you for your help ![](../images/emo/smile.png) | | 11 February 2014 23:37 | | Hi Lazybug ![](../images/emo/smile.png) I've removed the stand-by. I checked your account and you have enough points (1811) to have your text translated. | | 12 February 2014 01:11 | | Thank you! ![](../images/emo/smile.png) |
