E-mail notification again and again

Yesterday I was working here in the afternoon, and during the evening I received at least 4 (maybe 5) e-mails with this link. Also after christmas I received a link to the first message almost every day.

I have visited the site very often, read the messages and replied. However, not to the turkish one which I don't understand (no prior contact with the writer).

This is very annoying. Could you please do something about it?

Hi, the system should not sent an email twice. I mean, if you are off line, and you receive 5 mprivate messages, you only receive one email. But if you log in/log out very often in the afternoon, it's possible you recevied 5 emails.

This being said, I'm not sure to understand what you find annoying. Is it the fact that you receive many messages or the fact that you reveive a turkish message ? In the 2 cases, I'm afraid I can't do many things to improve.

Annoying is that I get the same mail every day and several times a day. Same notification with the old messages. Today again.

I also get mail notifying if there is a new message. These come only once or twice. That is ok.

You can deactivate the email notification by editing your profile, did you try ?
