Translation submission not completed.

I tried to submit a translation of "Para sempre amigos" into Spanish about 5 times, but just got sent back to the translation work page... By the way, my translation: "Por siempre amigos".

No. When I started to make the translation, no Spanish translation had been posted. And I got the usual messages about having exclusive access to it for X amount of time. Doesn't that indicate that the translation had not already been submitted (nor even started) by someone else.

Yes, when you see the "exclusive message" nobody else can translate this until your exclusive access time is over.

I think I understand now. There is an automtic check that is done based on the length of your transaltion and the length of the original text. When the text detects an unusual length, you must [Confirm] (displayed in red at the top of the work page) to submit your translation.

You can try it, submit a very very long translation for a short source text, and you'll see it's not accepted.

For this translation, I saw no such message; the "exclusive" clock ran down, then started over again. After 4-5 attempts to submit the Portuguese (Brazilian)->Spanish translation, I simply gave up and posted this problem report.

For now, I can't see what went wrong. I suggest to take a screen shot next time you se this problem. That will help me a lot to understand and correct it.
