Hi! Cucumis is great! One of the Chinese member told me about it today.

We also have an interesting project, called ALBIS. it's not WIKI and it's not points - it's based on an ad revenue sharing model.

ALBIS already has: English, Japanese, German, Polish, Serbian, Cebuano, Norwegian, Indonesian.

All other languages are still lacking! (Some are under development.)

More info here: http://albis.vetsin.com/

Just click on the flag of your country (just like at this site :-)

Thanks!

Nick

You did? Thanks! It's for memorizing vocabulary! Very simple stuff, really... You choose a language, and that's it! You get taken to Level 1.

You have a very nice project here. I'm sorry to hear about your server crash! But you have a lot of members, so I'm sure you'll recover quickly. :-)

It's a way to learn a language, more precisely, to get more vocabulary of a given language?
Where the words come from? A dictionnary?

Yes, that's right, the idea is to build your vocabulary.

The words are entered into our custom database by native speakers - which is why I posted here! Each language is developed and maintained by a native speaker. I am looking for people to do the Spanish, Swedish, Hungarian, Portuguese and other modules...

Long way to go!

I discovered Albis before cucumis. I like both very much. I use Albis to improve my English and to build my vocabulary in many other languages.

However, I found some errors in the Italian to English exercises. So it would be better if one could propose some corrections directly from the software.

Thank you and congratulations.

Hi sputnick
How come there's no Taiwanese flag for a version in traditional Chinese on Albus?
I would appreciate it very much if one is created. 多謝! THANKS A LOT! VIELEN DANKS! どうもありがとう!

Hello
I'm a little late, but I also like Albis very much...
When I was on vacations, I was seeing Italian vocabulary, I got until the 17th Level... It's something... I have bad internet, aha, it takes more than 5 minutes to answer the test...
My vacations are coming again, I'll see if I can finish it!
GOOD JOB!
