expert status of translator indicatedImprovement

I have a suggestion for an improvement: It would be nice if the evaluator could see when the translator who has done a translation is an expert (in any language), since I for one would be more likely to trust a translation done by an expert. As it is, we can only see if the translator is an administrator (a little bee appears next to their name). | | 15 April 2007 02:43 | | I suggest just the opposite. The evaluator's task is to evaluate not the reputation of translator but rather the quality of the translation itself.
For precisely this reason, peer review of academic papers in some disciplines is moving toward *blinded* papers, where the author's identity is concealed from the reviewer. | | 15 April 2007 05:12 | | Hmm. Good point. I retract the suggestion. | | 15 April 2007 15:29 | | Yes good point (less work for me ) | | 23 April 2007 12:45 | | |
