I get this message almost every time I do a longer translation from Turkish to English:

"The size of your translation doesn't match the size of the source text."

Is it possible that the language equivalency for Turkish is incorrect?

I believe cucumis has made the "Language Equivalency" self-learning. Every accepted translation will go into tweaking the language equivalence. Don't worry about it.

I read that too, but judging by the number of times I get that message when translating from Turkish, it's apparently not working.

Yes I will look if there isn't a bug on this warning.
According to the list. The size of a turkish text is, on average, equal to the size of an english text. Does it sound ok to you ?

Definitely not. Turkish is much more succinct in terms of numbers of words, although the words are sometimes longer. But as samanthalee says, if the system is self-adjusting, wouldn't it fix itself?

Yes the system is adjusting itself when we accept translations. But if we accept translations with comments inside it can introduce wrong number in the stats. On the average it should be adjust itself...

Are you sure it does this? Turkish should definitely not be 1:1 with English except for shorter translations.
