Till now, some special Chinese suggestions have been submitted to me, including:

1. Cucumis is too personalised, it's not managed or operated very well, although it collects very good translators. It's somewhat waste of intelligence. for example, to use the highest-end labour in satisfying the lowest-end demands.

2. We are translating to ourselves, it's like talking to our selves. It's mad indeed. Then can we unit to cooperate with some entities or websites to use our luxury labour to do some holly things? for example: to translate some websites purported to be international, to offer linguistic services to the public, to research, to government, including many grand linguistic research institute with their websites, like proel.com, and many others,

like the whitehouse.gov
like many others who are claimed to be important, but actually in a poorly linguistic process.

Hi,
For the first point, I think the "meaning only" requests was done for this purpose, to avoid to spend too many efforts on a translation that doesn't deserve it. ( I'm not sure to understand the words "highest-end" and "lowest-end", maybe my answer is not good thus)

For the wecond point, that's why I created the project section. Some users are already using and try to involve the translators of cucumis in their projects. But most of the projects have their own translation management (like wikipedia and others). I'm not sure that cucumis can provide such a labour force to transalte big projects. There are still many pending requested translations on cucumis
