Introduction & a technical issue

All,

My name is Fawzi Sdudah, and I am from Libya (in north Africa for people who do not know).

I am interested in linguistics, but I am not a linguist. Arabic is my native language and English is the language I am modestly fluent in. Languages in my wish list include Italian and French.

I am very busy at this time, but I have registered to keep the site in my favorites. I have just translated a request from Arabic into English to see how it works here.

* Now to the technical issue*
The first time I registered, the site gave me the following snippet of the error message:
<... internal server error ...> though, I have received a notification message in my email confirming my registration.

The second time this happened is when I submitted my translation. It gave me the same error message. I believe the translation went through in spite of the error message.

I am using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Windows XP as my Web browser. I have not tried Internet Explorer with your site. I always use Firefox.

Hi and welcome on cucumis. I don't know what happens, but many people report problems with server errors. Thans for reporting, I think I will reboot the server tonight. Hope it will work better after this.

By the way we have very few people speaking arabic as well as english. Your help will be appreciated here

It seems that I need to bother you by asking you to read my urgent request for help. Could you read it on the general forum please.

The person's request for translation is a critical one, and any mess I did would seriously affect him.
