Well, Belgium doesn't have a typical dish!
(except French frites! They call it french, although it's Belgian!)
There's only 1 place in the world where they have 'Friture', I don't know the english term of it, because I don't think it exists! (been to quite some countries in Europe, and found 1 in France (Belgian person owned it) so,,

Hmm, typical Estonian dish estonian food

I don't know that much about estonian food! (only lived there until I was around 6 years and few months)

I'm very special for eating, I just like a few things! I think I should taste more, but whenever it looks different, I just leave it there!
Have you tasted PAELLA? It's a typical dish in Spain. It's delicious! The Spanish omelette is also wonderful, it has potatoes!
By the way, my birthday is on 8th March, the International Day of Worker Women... I like having being born that day!

Hugs!

Mireia

Angelus, your description of feijoada is a little concise, though (black beans and pieces of meat.lol! it's the Ewok version, maybe?)

I still didn't taste it, there's a Brazilian restaurant in Rennes (the big city which is at 45 minutes from home) and I hope I'll get there this winter (as Kafetzou said, it is rather a winter meal). Here's the ingredients of it :
Feijoada da Thatha .

But thank you Angelus, you reminded me I definitely had to taste that feijoada!

Yes Mireia, I've eaten Paella a lot
I love it, to be honest!

I go to Spain every 2 years so! every time we eat it there! (+ even at home, although the Paella made in Spain is better than my mum's)
Never tried a Spanish omelette tho!

Fun...talking about recipes
I love tortilla, is that the dish you are talking about mireia??(the Spanish omelette with potatoes)
Never been to Spain, but get a recipe from someone with egg, potatoes, spinach, onion, black olive and spices...jammi!

Here is one recipi from Sweden for the 'smörgåsbord' (a cold dish)
http://clivias.blogspot.com/2005/12/lemon-pickled-herring.html
I guess sweden is maybe known for 'köttbullar' -meat balls , but I wont give you folk a recipi of that because I am practically a vegetarian, apart from eating fish, eggs and milk. I'm born on a Wednesday, 16th February
