Yep, to me that hair-cut is horrible! I think she spoils her nice voice with her look... (I hate the fashion of the 80´s! Blaaah...)

Yep, first I thought the Gregorian one sounds stupid, but not at all. And there is a Gregorian version even for Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day!

Ohh, Voyage, Voyage. Long time, no hear, but surfaces memories...

At least Pia, you were allowed to look crazy, hehe . For us foreign music was forbidden, it was "rotten" and "decadent". But when we caught a tape with Modern Talking or Silent Circle....

I remember we were trying to shorten our uniform skirts and to make our hair high.... And there was this stupid high-school director who used to caught us and brush our hair or unravel our hem (together with some slaps over the face or head)and we could not do anything against.

Wow... iepurica, I can see that we grow up in different parts of the world. Even if Rumanian isn't that far from Scandinavia. I feel like a spoiled child when you tell how it was for you back then. But kids isn't stupid , you found the way anyway...GOOD!

Oooh, Iepurica. I was too young back in those times (or I even wasn´t a small thought in my parents´ mind! ), but this isn´t unknown to me either, at least to my grannies and parents. Yeah, sometimes we say music is only music, but sometimes music is freedom!

Mariza - Cavaleiro monge

This is a fado, the most famous Portuguese genre. Mariza sings one poem from the great Fernando Pessoa. Shivering!

Wow! Great songs from Portugal, I really like the way they speak. Although I don't understand much when they are talking, I can understand while they are singing! Good lyrics!

Sodade, this song looks like our Pagode.

Se eu não te amasse tanto assim and Já sei namorar, two sticky songs... Ivete has a good voice, and Marisa Monte too.

This is another beautiful song from Ivete. There are subtitles, raise the volume and sing along!.

I don't know, we may be really happy Guilão... THis is the second time I see that. I know I am.
A small example... Me and some of my friends, the ugly voice "behind" the video is mine, don't laugh at me.

Right now I'll put a little selection of songs here too... I really have no preference with music, it should have a nice lyric... a meaning why I should hear it.

Wait a little:

Color esperanza. With a portuguese chorus at the end.

Sin Bandera - Sirena. Hard to sing... But very pretty.
I love to sing in spanish!

This is a song style called Forró.
Calcinha preta
(Yeah, black panties) - Louca por ti. I don't like it very much, but here it is.

And this is Xote (The kind I like most).
Falamansa -
Xote da alegria

Axé:
Babado Novo - Camisa e botão

Pagode
Grupo Revelação
- Velocidade da luz. <- Sing along!

Well, there must be many tipes of brazilian music, but these are the ones I know right now. Hehe, I'm not very fond of music but I try to be.

Check this out. I love that!

Oh no thatha, it wasn't my intention to make fun of you, I was trying to have fun along with you.

That video with the children is very very endearing, and you sing with a beautiful voice and completely in tune. When you make a video singing in Spanish, post it here.
