| When we say in portuguese "We bring you peace", the correct translation is "Nós trazemos a paz" and when we say "We have brought peace onto you" the translation is "Nós trouxemos a paz até você".
In portuguese, the meaning of "hevenu shalom aleichem" is a bit different, it's like "announcement" or "proclaim" or "to make known", it means, "We announce the peace to you". That's it what I have to say. That's why I don't agree with you. Your translation "Nós lhe trazer paz" is grammatically incorrect. Please, just deny a translation when you are sure of the correct translation, not "supose it".
Thanks. |

| Hi,
I think Charige made a good job in her translation. I just read it now. If you need any help, you can always ask!

| Hi, is this a good translation? I mean, are there a lot of faults in it?
Do you got msn, btw?
It is true that I've profited of the fact that I would have been able to have more freedom and to do what I want. But well, The ditch of the generation is growing more and more. My parents remain traditional and they persist in marrying me. Since the birth, women in India are not treated with the right value. Instead of going to school, girls have to do domestic choirs thus they cannot inform themselves, so they'll be all their life dependant on the men.
Greetings,
Nathan |

| The translation in general seems ok, but I don't like how the "nutcracker" is translated, I beleive it is not the mere "person who cracks nuts", or is it? In that case, my apology to the translator.
I can't find that translation, maybe because I already voted it |

| Generation gap, that was the word I was looking for! Hahaha, I was looking for that word, I could say it 100 times, but I didn't find it
Thanks for everything, if you got a question, you just have to ask.
By the way; Happy New year

| Hi,
Why have you rejected my Albanian-English translation, if I may ask?
Thanks |
| 5 Ιανουάριος 2008 19:14 |
| Pardon me?
But the word "gezuar" in Albanian doesn't mean anything else but "cheers" in English?
What should I add if there's nothing more this word brings in this context? |
