| TuÄŸba, i think that "What is your marital status?" is correct.
Just syntax is not correct. Must be: "Are you working? What is your marital status? "
|

| Oh yes!I've missed the syntax,sorry.
And I'm sure the marital stuff is correct.

| uzeyir, what do you mean by: "isn't polite"? |
| 1 May 2008 20:32 |
| "sana" and "size" have same senses in english , as you know. |
| 1 May 2008 20:36 |
| I still can't get what you are talking about.
Anyway, I'll set a new poll after all those changes, OK? |
| 1 May 2008 20:35 |
| I think there's no problem with 've or have. Both mean the same. |
| 1 May 2008 20:37 |
| There's no problem at all. |
| 1 May 2008 20:39 |
| Lilian,I'm a native speaker of Turkish and sana aşık oldum is informal but this guy wrote this text in a polite way but not the whole text.
Sana : you
Size : you They mean the same but size is plural and more formal. |

| I don't think " I want to be friend s with you" is correct. "I", 1st person singular, and friend s . either you say "I want to be friend with you", (or maybe better "I want to be your friend" or you say "I want us to be friend s" ... |
| 1 May 2008 20:44 |
| I thought the same with you,Frankcy and some English friends said me it'd be 'friends'
|
| 1 May 2008 20:49 |
| to say I want to be friend with you is syntactically incorrect |
| 1 May 2008 20:51 |
| How are you?
Where are you from originally? Are you working? What is your mariyal status?
I've fallen in love with you. I want to be friends with you.
|
| 1 May 2008 20:52 |
| That's what I wrote,sarapperest!
not mariyal,it's marital! |
