A minha primeira escolha também seria "os mortos" e não "a morte", mas não sei exactamente porquê. Se fosse "a morte" teria que ser "the dead", é isso?

Hallo, Lilly? How are you today? It’s nice to see you here every day Could I make a little remark again? As you know I like Cucumis very much, but there is sth missing for me in here. I mean one page which would include all rules of the website written together. Now there are rules expressed and located in different places, in forums etc. The life seems to be too short to read all of them and find information which the new member is interested in. I have to ask experts and admins always when there is sth I don’t know. Unfortunately it’s not practical and sometimes causes disagreements, I guess. Please, don’t take it as an accusation, but only my suggestion: Maybe it’s not bad idea to create some code (including rights for all kind of members)? I know that people don’t want to read codes, but sometimes they are very useful.

If you really care about the correctness and the level of translations on Cucumis (I believe you do and so do I ), I would be so bold to report the following errors in Polish version of the webside. I reported only one to jp so far. He has already removed the error(So I’m really glad and grateful to him). Unfortunately, I still see quite many errors here, and as a teacher… I really can’t look at them. I hope you know what I mean.

1.English:‘Cucumis is a web-site where you can submit texts to be translated by the community ‘
Polish:„Cucumis jest stroną gdzie możesz dodać swój tekst do przetłumacznia przez innych użytkowników”
Errors:
- punctuation error: after a word “stroną” should be comma,
- letter error: should be “przetłumaczenia” (missing 'e'),
- stylistic error : “przez innych użytkowników”--> “innym użytkownikom"

I’m sorry, but the style of this translation is quite bad. I’m proposing that we translate it in this way:
„Cucumis jest stroną, gdzie możesz zlecić innym użytkownikom tłumaczenie tekstu”.


2.English: ‘If you don't know any foreign language, we allow you to use cucumis by giving you 300 points every 10 days (only when you log in and when you actually need them)’
Polish: “Jeżeli nie znasz żadnego języka obcego, pozwolimy ci używać Cucumis przez to, że damy ci % punkty na każdy % dzien (ale tylko jeżeli jesteś zalogowany (-a) i jeżeli naprawdę ich potrzebujesz)”

Completely wrong style and unclear text (when I was reading it for the first time I was confused a little and had to read English version instaed). I believe it sholud be:
„ Jeżeli nie znasz żadnego języka obcego, pozwolimy ci używać serwisu Cucumis ofiarowując ci 300 punktów na każde 10 dni (pod warunkiem, że jesteś zalogowany (-a) i naprawdę ich potrzebujesz)."
Instaed of "na każde 10 dni" can be also "co 10 dni".

3.English 'List of [wiki] translations to be done or updated'
Polish: "Lista tłumaczeń [wiki] do zrobienia lub aktualizacji" – stylistic error (zrobienia --> wykonania)

I can show more of them. But I must know whether you really do sth with it.
You know, if not, it will be waisting of my time. So, please, answer me, if my reporting of the errors is really welcomed here.
I know that before changing anything we will have to consult Edyta. I really respect her opinion.
I hope you understand my good intentions and my real care about Cucumis isuess. If not, I won’t report anything anymore.
By the way (you and Francky), please, stop thank me for my being an active member and doing the volunteer work. I do it (as most of us) with pleasure and don’t need any words of thanks.
