| Ciao Alex!
Yes, it is true we have not got any expert for Ancient Greek. I had the same problem. My Ancient Greek translations hadn't been evaluated for a long time so I reported it to our administrator Francky. He took care about it and set poll for them so that the members who knows a source and A. Greek could vote. But this is a very long process of evaluating. Some of my translations permanently have been staying not evaluated from a long time, because nobody voted. So I stopped making them...
But if you want, you can also ask Francky about the poll. He will do it for sure.
I read on your fb profile you went to "Liceo Classico Giosue' Carducci", so I believe you knows the ancient languages quite good. I can see that from your Latin translations too. So, don't hesitate and use your skills to help others. Good luck!

| to answer your question about this translation : http://www.cucumis.org/traduction_0_t/voir-traduction_v_259878.html
Hi Alex!
You did the right thing in opening a poll of evaluation. All you can do at the moment is leaving this translation to its evaluation by people who can read both Thai and Italian (which may take a certain time)
If you're looking forward to fixing this problem up, what you can do is :
Watching newly registered Thai members by using the members search, and trying to find someone who matches the above criteria.
Then if you didn't find any, add English to the criteria and search again until you find someone who may be connected recently and possibly would answer your message.
leave her/him a message :
"Hi! I see you can read English, that's fine, because I don't speak Thai Please coud you have a look at this text, and provide me with a bridge in English from it.
I would be grateful* if you could, because I've got to evaluate its translation into Italian.
Best regards, "
* grateful, by donating her/him some points, or giving her/him a hand on some translation.
It's always better with communication, you can keep in touch with someone if ever you succeed to find someone, especially when it is about minoritary languages (on cucumis).
This way, you wouldn't only solve a translation problem, but maybe you'll motivate this user for participating and communicating with other people. At least will you set him in position to do it. I sent many messages without an answer, I prefer warning you about this, don't go sad from disppointment if you have no answer, you'll have the opportunity to send other messages of this kind and anyway the poll is still open. Watch the date, keep the translation at the poll for three months then notify if nothing moved.

| Good question. And very funny answer! Interesting story!
We call today Italy "WÅOCHY" (plural noun indeed!), quite differently than other nations, because of some Polish queen "BONA SFORZA"( the second wife of our king Zygmunt Stary= Sigismund I the Old) who came from Italy and brought to Poland some kind of vegetables which we call "wÅ‚oszczyzna" (sth like French "Mirepoix" for example: tomatoes, cauliflower, artichokes, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage and spinach. We just hadn't known these vegetables until she brought them to our country!!! The same with pasta!
P.S. You know, when we speak about the old "Italia" (of ancient times) we say just Italia" and we decline it as follows (like all our feminine nouns with "-ia" ending):
Nom. Italia
Gen. Italii
Dat. Italii
Acc. ItaliÄ™
Abl. o/w Italii, z ItaliÄ…
Voc. Italio!

| Yeah. Athena!
You know, my name "Aneta" if written backwords, would give just "Atena". This was my pseudonim in times when I was studing classical philology. |

Esse Cucumis foi uma idéia brilhante e pessoas como vc dão conta de uma grande parte das traduções.
