| Hi Cisa
I had to read all of Ian's notes under the Japanese to English translation, as at first I found that there was too much difference between the English and the Spanish.`
It's OK, now I've understood, I vote "for" your text.

| When someone says "Encantado" he means the same as "nice to meet you" |

| Hi emfeitosa
I had understood that much, Spanish being one of the languates I am able to read, but the literal Japanese translation means "please be nice to me", which is why I had hesitated a little at the beginning.

| N'est ce pas une expression idiomatique japonaise pour traduire "ã©ã†ãž よã‚ã—ã" = "How do you do ?" = "¿Qué tal ?". |

SahNumber of messages: 47 | please be good to me wouldn't be translated with Encantado |

| I think "nice to meet you" or "how do you do" are more appropriate. |

| Japanese people say "hajimemashite" when meeting each other for the first time... that's the one that can be translated as "nice to meet you". douzo yoroshiku (onegaishimasu)literally means "(please) be good to me"... so I agree that the proper way to translate it into Spanish would be "se bueno conmigo". it would be even more polite to add "por favor" after. |

| if in spanish it means "encantado", the right way to say it in english would be "its a pleasure" |

| I think the correct translation would be "Nice to meet you", as "encantado" is something that spanish people say when they meet someone new |
