| OK - thanks, Maribel. Then "fuss" is definitely correct. |
| 22 May 2007 16:22 |
| Finally!
Then, the portuguese one is correct too.
Tack för hjälp,Maribel!
I wasn't saying that this is some kind of show, just an adjective for that, kafetzou. Mistake, sorry. |
| 22 May 2007 16:25 |
| No problem - I'm glad we got that straightened out (and I learned how to say "fuss confirmed" in Finnish)! |
| 22 May 2007 16:33 |
| We are ready to go finland now. HEHE
Nähdään. |
| 23 May 2007 07:34 |
| It seems that my explanations are incomprehensible
The translation should be corrected as:
"The fuss strengthened me" or "The fuss made me stronger" and in remark field that the "me" comes from the context this being a headline "Tarja Turunen: Kohu vahvisti".
I cannot change it anymore, sorry. |
| 23 May 2007 13:08 |
| This might be driving you crazy!
Is this last one the actual meaning of the text, Maribel? |
| 23 May 2007 13:21 |
| How about "The controversy made me stronger"? |
| 24 May 2007 11:55 |
| Yes, the last one is the actual meaning (you find it in my earlier comment too with >>> and <<< .
I can live with controversy (although I like more the fuss) |
| 24 May 2007 14:27 |
| OK - I'll leave it as is. Are you a native speaker of English, BTW, Maribel? |
| 24 May 2007 18:31 |
| No, I am not a native. I am just a curious one commenting a lot, want to explain and get explanations, love discussions etc. |
| 24 May 2007 18:37 |
| Oh. Why do you have English as your primary language on your profile, then? |
