Forewords:

In May 2020, I decided to translate Lu Yao's novel and drama Ren Sheng (A Humble Life);

On 1 September 2020, I finished the novel translation, and it took more time than planned, so I decided not to translate the drama in the same name. My translation of Lu Yao's great works will suspend from now, so I can fulfill some other literary plans.

Thanks to my grandma (Liang Xiuying), my parents (Liu Zhendang & Wang Shuhua), my high school English teachers (Wang Mingchao, Yang Xuping);

Thanks to my eldest sister (Liu Yan), who gifted to me a translation guidebook "Guidebook to EN<->CN Translation" (author: Chen Xuhua) when I was about to graduate from my village primary school. Although this book might not suffice after I graduated from Zhengzhou University, it's rather a good grammatical guidebook and the best translation guidebook ever found in China.
