| I waited for you - they weren't coming at all
hep seni bekledim bir türlü gelmeyen
kafetzou burada niçin "they " kullandın.
hep seni bekledim ve sen bir türlü gelmedin
aslında cümle bu. |
| 14 Sierpień 2008 07:43 |
| I took it as a continuation:
hep seni bekledim bir türlü gelmeyen
Delikanlı yüreklerin çılgın vuruşlarında |
| 15 Sierpień 2008 08:13 |
| couldn't it be "you" instead of "they"
devamı olarak da düşünsen orada they yok yoksa ben mi göremiyorum.
gelmeyen kiÅŸi hayali bir sevgili ya da beklediÄŸi belli bir kiÅŸi |
| 21 Sierpień 2008 07:15 |
| hep seni bekledim bir türlü gelmeyen = hep seni bekledim "SEN" bir türlü gelmedin
where is "they" here?? |
| 21 Sierpień 2008 19:31 |
| Merhaba Kafetzou,
"İlkyaz" "bahar" anlamına gelir. |
| 22 Sierpień 2008 07:49 |
| Her zaman öyle mi buketnur? "İlk yaz" anlamına gelemez mi? CC: buketnur |

| Hi Kafetzou,
If all those comments were in English evaluating would be a bit easier... |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 18:10 |
| Good point.
Serba was worried about my translation of the title, which I had taken to be connected to the rest, but he pointed out that it might not be. I didn't change anything there.
Buketnur pointed out that "ilkyaz", which literally means "first summer", actually means "spring". I asked if it could mean "first summer" metaphorically, as in "first time someone experienced love", but she said it couldn't, so I changed it. |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 18:11 |
| Actually, I just noticed serba's last note, and I'm going to change the title accordingly - there was a form I had misunderstood there. |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 18:11 |
| i interpreted the first line like serba too
last line something like: from what the springs could take of your free beauty |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 18:14 |
| Apparently "alabildiÄŸine" is an adverb that means "totally" - I didn't know it either. |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 18:16 |

| to be "delikanlı" is not only for men . "youngster" can be better instate of "young men's hearts".
and
"ilk yazlar" means here "the first love" |
| 23 Sierpień 2008 22:48 |
| |
| 26 Sierpień 2008 07:59 |
| by the way using "first summer" instead of "spring" for the word "ilk yaz" would be more poetic. |
| 26 Sierpień 2008 08:02 |
| bence ilk yaz first summer olarak kalmalı.
ilk yaz=ilkbahar=first summer= spring
ancak ilk yaz ve first summer kelimeleri şiir için daha uygun bence.. |
| 27 Sierpień 2008 06:18 |
| OK - I changed "Springs" back to "first summers", and changed my translation of "delikanli" to "hot-blooded youths". |
| 27 Sierpień 2008 15:54 |
| Everyone happy now?
May I validate it? |
