| I got it now! The fact is that the font for capital i and the one for l are identical here, so... that's why I misunderstood, but also because it reminds me the Latin word LEPUR (it means not exactly rabbit, but hare, wich is very similar, a kind of wild rabbit).
|
| 12 Marzec 2007 15:20 |
| I believe that "iepure" (means "rabbit" comes also from the same Latin word (in the end, Romanian developedfrom Latin), because we do not have different words for hare and rabbit... By the way, what's the Italian word for rabbit? |
| 12 Marzec 2007 16:38 |
| Rabbit is "coniglio" in Italian, from Latin cuniculus. Hare is "lepre", little hare is "leprotto".
How do you pronounce in Romanian the "c" in Iepurica? |

| Sorry, I asked you because i saw you were connected, but I think jp has done it. Everybody tells me it's better not to ask jp if there are other administrators, since he is so busy with the server, and I thought every administrator could do it. |

| Hi, a new user is asking about romanian diatricals on the forum. Can you have a look to this topic ?
By the way, I had a discussion with Francky about a romanian user who was not respecting us, according to you and Francky. I was not very sure about that. I told Francky that I'd rather not deactivating people if I'm not 100% sure, because people can register again and again, and give us a lot fo problems. When I'm sure the user has wel received our message and he's still submitting transltions without diatricals, I'm Ok to deactivate his/her account.
Thx for your great work on cucumis |
