That one that said: "The singer Tarkan said that because of security concerns he did not accept the invitations to give concerts in Afghanistan and Iraq because of security concerns."

then it's ok, the Romanian version was also confusing, that's why I asked. Thank you.

Hallo Chantal, Zaidita vroeg om een vertaling SP->EN voor haar CV, maar omdat een CV nogal belangrijk is heb ik besloten om me er niet aan te wagen. Aangezien het aantal vertalers SP-EN nogal beperkt is en ik haar toch graag wou helpen, dacht ik het via een omweg te doen door SP->NE->EN.

Ja, ik hoopte eigenlijk dat jij het tweede stuk voor je rekening zou nemen

are you aware that you lower my over all rating in english by giving me 7. Could you please give me an explanation so I can fully understand your way of rating.

How can I have an average of 10 from Kafetzou and 7 from you. Something is wrong!

Είμαι ισπανιδα αλλά η μητρηκές μου γλώσσες ειναι τα ισπανικά και τα καταλανικά. Ομως, εβαλα μητρηκη γλωσσα καταλανικά και δεν μπορώ να μεταφρασω στα ισπανικά, κάτι που βεβάιως είμαι ικανη να κάνω... Πόσες μοναδες πρεπει να αποκτήσω για να μεταφράζω και στα ισπανικά? θα μπορέσω κάποτε να το κάνω? ευχαριστώ πολύ!!

Sorry, I don't know why I wrot e in Greek!!
My problem is that I speak both Catalan and Spanish, but I cannot translate anything into Spanish because I put Catalan as my preference language. So, I would like to know how can I change this. I mean, would it be possible for me to translate both in Catalan and Spanish? (since they are my mother tongues! I feel a little silly when they tell me I can't translate insto Spanish...)

Thank you for your kind greetings! I hope to be of as much use here at Cucumis as people think to put me to.

Why did I come to Japan? Hmmm...It was so LONG ago... I wanted to study Zen meditation and Buddhism in general (hey - no snickering please! ò_ó ) and to live and love and work in a completely foreign culture where the things were nevertheless modern enough, and I would not run screaming back to Canada for lack of comfort...

In Europe, things are comfortable, but the thinking is still Western wherever you go...

In India or China, the thinking is radically different, but living there (I've heard) is really hard to take, at a physical level...

Here in Japan, I've got almost all the modern comforts of back home in Canada, but I've also got a culture all around me that has so often left me shaking my head in bewilderment...

The perfect learning experience!
