The METTLER TOLEDO RC1 Reaction Calorimeter is an automatic lab reactor heated/cooled by oil bath. It allows chemical processes to be developed and performed under conditions resembling those in the plant. The use of RC1 includes the clarification of hazard risks of chemical and physical processes. It is distinguished from other analytical lab instruments in that a chemical hazard potential can arise with these safety-related investigations on a liter scale.
