In this case report, the goal is to present the findings on the mouth before and after periodontal treatment done on a 35-year old male patient, who chewed only on one side for 15 years and unused to brushing his teeth. When the patient's history was taken, it was understood that because of pain in the right front teeth he had started to use the left side and never thought to go to a dentist. Widespread plaque formation and resulting serious inflammation of the gums was discovered on the right side.
