| | "Je suis heureuse parcequ'on" n'est pas traduit
"je sais" biliyorum |
| | 18 June 2008 16:40 |
| | "je suis vraiment sincere quant a mes sentiments pour toi et je sais que c'est reciproque" bence "Sana olan hislerim/duygularım gerçekten ciddi ve bunun karşılıklı olduğundan eminim" olarak biraz değiştirilirse daha doğru olur. |

Je suis heureuse que = -e sevindim

------
I’m happy because we are going to meet on august
Concerning my feelings for you I’m really sincere and I know it's mutual.
At the moment I am listening to our turkish song and it makes me feel close to you more and more.
I preview the video of our sweetie and it warm me to see her. To see you in class (course) warmed my heart too.
I love you and I miss you.
Your wife who thinks a lot of you who hugs and kisses you
---------
thank you soooo much in advance

| | Hi handyy
I know you asked Tantine, but here is my translation:
Hello my love,
I'm happy because we're going to meet in the month of August.
I am truly sincere in my feelings for you, and I know that it's reciprocal.
I'm listening to our Turkish song right now and that brings me nearer and nearer to you.
I viewed the video of our "flea" and that makes me eager again to see her. Seeing you in class warmed up my heart again to an equal degree.
I love you and I miss you.
Your wife who is thinking of you and who hugs you tightly.

| | Hi Handyy
Your bridge seems fine, except
"...and it makes me feel close to you more and more"
Which would be better as "feel closer and closer to you"
You should put "I watched" rather than "I preview","warms" rather than "warm" and "Seeing" rather than "To see"
The rest is fine
Bises

| handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | At first I wanna thank you all for your help!
Well, I made some editing. Please look at it, and tell me if it is ok or there is still something to edit:
-------------------------------------
Merhaba sevgilim,
-------------------------------
-- Pire is a simile, and nickname of their child, may be used to describe how small it is. so it can be stay as it is, no need to change it.
--For saying "Karşılıklı olduğundan eminim", it should be used as "I am sure". but according to your bridges, it is used as "I know" so I translate it as "..biliyorum ki karşılıklı."
-- for the last sentence, is there the verb "to kiss" used or not?? and is it only "hug" or "hug tightly"?? |

| | This looks really nice, handyy. I think you should reject mine and submit yours, since it's completely different from what I wrote and quite eloquent, but I don't want to replace my translation with it because you wrote it, not me. |

| handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | Oh, thank you so much Kafetzou, it is very nice to hear it from you!
look, your translation isn't wrong at all and not completely different from mine, but just needs some editing. to sum up, ı am not gonna reject it, because it won't be fair
Again I wanna thank you, Turkishmiss, 44Hazal44 and Tantine |
| | 21 June 2008 20:35 |
| | Why wouldn't it be fair? I asked you to do it, handyy. I don't want a translation that I didn't do to be accepted with my name on it.
If you feel bad about rejecting my translation, just reject it with a high rating (or no rating). |

| handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | Kafetzou, please don't get me wrong. I didn't reject it not because of feeling bad! your sentences are correct, you gave the correct feelings and thoughts in each sentence. but the problem was your style. I just made little editing and changed the words with the one which is more commonly used in Turkish. You, English experts, also do the same thing; you change our sentences into more sensible ones. and that's just what I did. there was even not just a sentence that is completely wrong, so how could I reject it? hope to be able to explain what I meant... |
| | 21 June 2008 23:32 |
| | Thanks - I understand. It doesn't matter to me now whether it's rejected or accepted. I thought you had changed a lot more. |
| | 23 June 2008 17:13 |
| | hanndy, you wrote me a PM for this translation. Do I have to reject it with no rating then ? |
| | 23 June 2008 17:24 |
| | I think it's OK now, jp. I had asked her to reject it, but she had already accepted it, but now I understand her reasons, and it's OK. CC: cucumis |
