Para uns, felicidade é Dinheiro no ...
Text

Para uns, felicidade é
Dinheiro no bolso,
Cerveja na geladeira,
Roupa nova no armário.
Para outros tantos,
Ser feliz é conhecer o mundo,
Ter um conhecimento profundo
Das coisas da Terra e do Ar.
Mas, para mim, ser feliz é diferente.
Ser feliz é ser gente,
É ter vida,
Que como dizia o poeta:
"É bonita, é bonita e é bonita..."
Ser feliz é ver todo dia
Um sorriso de criança.
É a música, é a dança,
É a paz, é o prazer
De descobrir a cada dia
Que a vida se inicia novamente,
A cada amanhecer.
Ser feliz é fazer da vida
Uma grande aventura,
A maior loucura,
Um enorme prazer.
Ser feliz é ser amigo
Mas, antes de tudo, é ter amigos,
Maravilhosos,
Exatamente assim:
Como você!!

Title
To some
Translation
English

Translated by lilian canale
Target language: English

To some, happiness is
Money in the pockets,
Beer in the fridge,
New clothes in the wardrobe.
To others,
Being happy is knowing the world,
Having a deep knowledge of
The things of the Earth and of the Air.
But, to me, being happy is different.
Being happy is being people,
Is having life,
Which as the poet used to say:
"It's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful..."
Being happy is seeing
The smile of a child everyday
It's music, it's dance
It's peace, the pleasure
Of discovering everyday
That life resumes
At every dawn.
Being happy is making
A great adventure out of life.
The greatest madness,
A big pleasure.
Being happy is being a friend
But above all, is having friends.
Wonderful ones
Exactly like that:
Like you!

In my opinion there are just a few little corrections to make, but the sense is correct.
I would replace some sentences as follows:

"The things of the Earth and of the Air": The things of Earth and Air;
"But, to me...": To me...;
"Being happy is being people": Being happy is being a person [or someone; or an human being];
"Which the poet used to say": Like the poet used to say;
"But above all is having friends": Above all is having friends.
