Sanus homo, qui et bene valet et suae spontis est , nullis obligare se legibus debet. Hunc oportet varium abere vitae genus : modo ruri esse, modo in urbe, saepiusque in agro : navigare ,venari ,quiescere interdum sed frequentius se exercere , siquidem ignavia corpus hebetat ,labor firmat , illa maturam senectutem , hic longam adulescentiam reddit.

The healthy man who gets on well and is free, musty not obey to any of the laws. He must direct his steps towards various ways of spending his life: either he is in the country side, or in town, more frequently on the filed: to navigate, to hunt, to rest meanwhile, but to exercise himself (to be active) frequently; if somehow the laziness overcomes his body, then the work should fortify it. The first will bring him an ultimately (premature) aging, the later will bring a long youth.
