some little things, which may be important.

I'm not familiar with the first line phrase (السادة شركة) - in the web i found this phrase as M/S (motor ship). anyway, also if it's true, obviously something missing - "dear sir" or "from the company".

* instead translating: " and the date of delivery " - it's been translated as: " and how long the delivery will take ".

* " with the name of our company on it " translated: " I-N the name of our company ".

* Instead of "We (will send)" --> "I (will send)".

* Instead of "concerning the design" --> "and the design".

Only now i see this is a "meaning only" request, so i guess it's OK - I didn't noticed it earlyer.

I think maybe it'd be a good idea to ask an expert about this: " السادة شركة " thing.

I am sorry ahikamr but i think that my translation is so far a correct one if we take into consideration that kafetzou asked for the meaning only. The choices you consider as wrong translation were made in purpose. The text is either a fax or a letter and as you know there are many diferences between the source language(arabic) and the target language (english) in this kind of writing.I tried in my translation to take into consideration both those differences as well as the meaning of the source text.

Hi ahikamr and la-mome

1) This is not my translation request - it is merito's.

2) I think that you should try as much as possible to be close to the original, but you are right that some things just don't sound good in the target language.

3) Please double check the items ahikamr mentioned and see if there is a way you can change the translation to make it closer to what the writer wanted. In the first line of the translation, for example, there are two blanks, one for the name of the recipient (I guess) and one for the name of the sender's company, but in the original there is only one - which one is it?

Please let me know when you have done that so I can validate the translation.

I have no way to edit the translation... but as I've said, and as la-mome mentioned - it is meaning only request, so the translation, as i see it, is good enough... anyway I've also said that i'm not familiar with the phrase "السادة شركة" (the one you've asked about) - but i found in the web that it is: "M\s" (motor ship probably).... the first word can mean "sirs" in arabic, and the second means "company"... but togetger it creates a phrase, terminology in shipping or something like that. this is why the confusion in the translation.

Thank you. I had already accepted your translation, but I have now replaced it with the new version.

P.S. Please remember to put a space after a period (full stop) in English.
