They said why are you crying, I said I loved,...
Translation
English

Translated by turkishmiss
Target language: English

They said: "Why are you crying?", I said: "I loved". They said: "Why are you troubled?" I said: "I gave my heart". They said: "Was it worth the trouble for a foreign girl?" I said: "It wasn't".
Remarks about the translation
There's a capital letter at the beginning of Elin so I guess it's a name. But without the cap it could be : They said is it worth the trouble for a foreign girl.

I have edited to add punctuation here to make it more easily readable in English

Hi Turkishmiss

Great English again, just in the last phrase it would be better to use the same auxiliary for the negation "isn't" instead of "didn't".

I've set a poll

Dear turkishmiss
It isn't a name. It is an idiom.
It means "girl of a stranger"

and
... why are you crying ?
... why are you troubled?

....> and I said ıt wasn't.

Is there any tense problem? I mean maybe it would be better to say "they have said..." instead of they said? But maybe I am mistaken.

bence was were gibi yardımcı fiilerin yerleri düzeltilirse bir sorun kalmaz. çünkü anlam olarak doğru görünüyor.grammar bakımından düzeltilmeye ihtiyacı var
