My brother is messed up with illegally upload of his own works done by *gaijin people,so he needs traslation of this message in many languages.
He found that those who speak english, chinese, korean, russian illegally upload his copyrighted works,so he needs japanese into english, chinese(Mandarin),korean(South korea),russian(spoken in Moscow) translation.

This is not discrimination of american, british, australian, russian, chinese, and korean people.
He just wants them to stop illegally uploading.

*Gaijin people just means "Outsiders","People except for japanese" in japanese, someone say "It's rude discrimination of foreign people!",but it is very gross misunderstanding.

Sure - no problem. By the way, my English isn't perfect either - I just noticed that I wrote "who's" instead of "whose" above. We call that ESL-teacher syndrome ...

Very sorry,i shouldn't have writen message to you when i was irritated with other things.

I took it out on you although you tried to help me very much.

"Headaches" was not the word which would hurt me,now i understood.
It means I just did not explain you situation.
Ok,if you didn't understand,You should've not be blamed. Everything was because of me!

Sorry for confusing you.

Francky-sama,so could i write some message about not only acient chinese but also chinese spoken in Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong,Fujiang,Hongkong,Makao,Malaysia,Singapore, and Taiwan?

Ok,so i submited here, but it make not only you but also Kafetzou-sama suffer from heavy headache because of a bunch of message!!

I examined chinese a little using wikipedia, and memory that i've heared from my beijing friend when i was a high school student, and japanese friend born in taiwan.

Sorry for confusing you once again.

"This language(文語体中国語) is not used in china today, this used to be spoken in ancient china.
If you would like to request for chinese spoken in Beijing(北京),and Shanghai(上海),
Please request for chinese simplified(中国語簡体字).
If you would like to request for chinese spoken in Guandong(広東),HongKong(香港),Makao(澳門),and Taiwan(台湾or中華民国),
Please request for traditional chinese (中国語繁体字).

Do not forget which kind of chinese you are requesting after you requested chinese simplified(中国語簡体字) or traditional chinese(中国語繁体字)
because Chinese(中国語) has different dialect, and intonation and Ortography in each area,
Beijing(北京),Shanghai(上海),Guandong(広東),Fujian(福建),Hongkong(香港),Makao(澳門),
Singapore(新加坡共和国),Malaysia(馬來西亞),and Taiwan(台湾or中華民国).

Generally spaking,Beijing-chinese(北京語) is used in today's beijing, and are considered as standard chinese in chinese spoken area all over the world.
Shanghai-chinese(上海語) is used in today's china, but used in shang-hai only.
Guangdong-chinese(広東語) is used in today's Hongkong,Makao,Guangdong, and decendents of Guangdong people in Malaysia,Singapore use this language.
Fujian-chinese(福建語) is used in today's fujian, but there are many decendents of fujiang people which speak this language in Malaysia,Singapore, and Taiwan.
Hakka-chinese(客家語) is used between decendents of Hakka people are living in Taiwan,Malaysia, and Singapore etc.
Taiwan-chinese(台湾語) is used between taiwan people when they are doing daily conversation, but now young people who use Beijing-chinese,not use taiwan-chinese are increasing.Old people(7~80 years old) of taiwanese use japanese(日本語),because they were educated in japanese under political control of japan(in 1940's) but they are decreasing now.(Ex.Lee Teng-hui(李登輝)7th~9th term of president of Taiwan can speak standard japanese(spoken in tokyo) very very fluently.)"

Sorry,i cannot write message anymore...
please let me sleep.

Thanks Mikhail, for your answer and for the time spent on this pop up message. I don't know whether it would be possible to be done in its integrality though, JP will tell us; but it seems to me the text is too big to be held in a pop up frame.

What I would retain, as a priority from it, is the first alinea (the first 5 lines) that seems to be providing us with the essential informations about which one from the Chinese (traditional or simplified) script is to be requested according to the area where the text is supposed to be sent once translated :

"This orthography(文語体中国語) is not used in china today, this used to be spoken in ancient china.

Rest of the text you posted, although very interesting and useful to learn, may take too much room, as I said, in a pop-up window.

Kaf, thanks for being willing to help!
Could you proofread the text in bold itallics above?

Thank you for repying,Francky-sama.
The rest of what i said is based on my knowledge only,so we need Pluie-poco's opinion because he is native of chinese!

The rest will not be in a pop-up frame,of course.
I did not think that you and JP must do like i said.

It is just a information for helping chinese translator,chinese-learner,those who are interested in chinese, and want to chinese translation request but I want someone to put information on somewhere in this site.

I have a idea, the information about acient chinese(文語体中国語) must be in pop-up frame when checking acient chinese(文語体中国語).

The rest must be in a pop-up frame when checking traditional chinese(中国語繁体字) or chinese simplified(簡体字).

For example,

"This ortograpohy is used in Beijing(北京),and Shanghai(上海),but chinese used in Beijing and Shanghai are very diferent.Don't forget to write which one you requesting too."

"This ortograophy is used in Guandong(広東),HongKong(香港),Makao(澳門),and Taiwan(台湾or中華民国),Singapore(新加坡共和国),Malaysia(馬來西亞),Guandong chinese(spoken in Guangdong,Hongkong, and Makao),and Taiwan-chinese are generally writen in this ortography, but Guangdong chinese has diferent dialects in each following place,Guangdong,Hongkong,Makao,Singapore, and Malaysia and is diferent from Taiwan-chinese.
Don't forget to write what kind of chinese dialect you are requesting too."

Sorry for submitting a bunch of messages that makes many people get headaches...

Francky-sama,please correct "This language(文語体中国語)" like "This ortography(文語体中国語)".

I just wanted to say "Ortography is diferent",not "Language is diferent".
There's many times of writing Guandong chinese writen in chinese simplified(中国語簡体字),and many reverse case.

If it is language, people misunderstand like
"Oh~,Guandong chinese will never be writen in chinese simplified(中国語簡体字)~!","Oh! Beijing-chinese will never be writen in traditional chinese(中国語繁体字)~!"

潘慶林(pān qìng lín?),a member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and 馬英九(Ma Ying-jeou),a 12th term president of Taiwan says "Traditional chinese(中国語繁体字) must be used in beijing chinese.",so there's people who think Beijing chinese should be writen in Traditional chinese(中国語繁体字) too.

I picked up this information from wikipedia(http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%B9%81%E4%BD%93%E5%AD%97 Sorry,i could not find the page writen in japanese).

Ok, thanks Mikhail, I edited the text as you suggested.

Instructions for JP :

- Pour la fenêtre pop-up destinée à ceux qui cochent la case "Chinois littéraire" :

This orthography(文語体中国語) is not used in china today, this used to be spoken in ancient china.

- Pour ceux qui cochent la case "Chinois simplifié" ou "Chinois traditionnel" :

If you would like to request for chinese spoken in Beijing(北京),and Shanghai(上海),
Please request for chinese simplified(中国語簡体字).

If you would like to request for chinese spoken in Guandong(広東),HongKong(香港),Makao(澳門),and Taiwan(台湾or中華民国),
Please request for traditional chinese (中国語繁体字).

Thanks for the informations, maybe would it be useful to open a thread in the English forum area.

And yes, pluiepoco is welcome to confirm what you said!

Hello everyone!

Will there be an English translation done and evaluated or can I use the bridge by kafetzou to evaluate translation into Russian?

I mean if there is already a translation done in this discussion why not submit it for evaluation?

Thank you!

Hi Siberia,

This is quite messy. I think you should wait until the English translation is accepted to evaluate the Russian one.
Let's see if Ian can help.

@ Master, could you please do the translation requested into English so that it will be used to evaluate all the others? That would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance

Bridge for evaluation purposes:
---
1. Please don't upload my works (i.e. the things I have created) illegally.
2. Writers (creators) are workers (laborers)! Writers work (hard) at creating their works! When you buy (lit: "The fact of your buying" ) these works, it is the wages of the writer for his/her hard work. It's only natural to pay someone for their hard work. Uploading works illegally is the same as not paying a laborer for his hard work. Writers only want to receive (fair) wages for their work. They only want to receive (fair) remuneration for (all the time they spent on) their work. This is (simply) the natural right of a laborer.
When writers (are forced to) work for free, they lose their desire to create any more works! You don't want to work for no payment either, right? (do you?) It's the same thing!
---
Enjoy...

Hi everyone

Where is my bridge translation? I can't remember where it was nor how I did it - I don't speak Japanese or Chinese!

Hi Laura,
Legend has it that a long time ago, Mihail himself did a rough English version, and you polished it up for him. This later, through the mists of time, became known as "your bridge"...

Lost in the mists of time...?
---
(Actually, I suspect he probably appended his own English version/translation to his Japanese translation request, as he often does, and you may have corrected that for him, in response to his last request in your inbox? But where that's gone now...?)

Ah - now I see it! Thanks, Pia!

To be honest, though, I think this is a bug with Cucumis - when I go directly to this page with the link that comes in the e-mail, the link that takes me to the previous page does not appear at the bottom of the page. The only way I can get there is by clicking on "read more", at which point I can see the link for "next page", and when I click on that, I get to the same page as this one, but with a link for "previous page" on it!
