| Hi hencom999,
Yes, I saw your note, and I agree with your choice! Usually here at , we try to faithfully translate the source text, as closely as possible!
I think Tantine will agree with it too, but I think we should wait for her to come back and validate it, because I think she is still in charge of validating this translation...
PS: You're lucky to have gone to Milan so many times! I've never been there! |

| Hi Ian!
Thanks for the kind words
Well I like Inter FC and I work for an airliner =)
Best Regards

| "quand partons-nous pour Milan?" este o intrebare, ori tu nu ai folosit semnele de punctuatie. "ne dis rien' este o imperativa, nu un enunt ca "You don't need to talk".
|
| 18 Febrero 2008 12:46 |
| Aici sunt probleme cu semnele de punctuatie. |

| I asked the Swedish expert to confirm wether "när ska vi milano " makes sense as it is in Swedish, or if it has to be edited. |
| 18 Febrero 2008 18:06 |
| Hi everyone! Just a question to Hencom999: Why you always put "Engelska" in the titles of your translations? I don't get it... Check it out this translation. The same thing happends here. |

"when shall we milano"
No, this doesn't make sense, strange Swedish!
Something is missing here, maybe a verb. This is probably about the city Milan, so I guess that the source should be "när ska vi resa till Milano" = "when shall we travel to Milan".
Hope it helps!

| Thanks, pias!
Well, I guess we know we can validate it now, Tantine!
It seems like those people who voted against this translation were basing their judgment on the French version, not on the original Swedish one.
Strange Swedish => Strange English! |
| 19 Febrero 2008 10:42 |
| The french translation mentions "When will we leave to Milano" (which is a city in Italy) |
| 19 Febrero 2008 11:23 |
| I asked the requester before editing the original version with Pia's suggestion, and after that I'll just have some edit to do on the French version ("Quand nous rendrons-nous à Milan " instead of "Quand partons-nous pour Milan"
A slight edit will also be necessary then on the English version... |
| 19 Febrero 2008 13:31 |
| Yes, the verb is missing and I guess we can invent something in this case.
I would have used just "go" because there is a possibility that "milano" is a night-club or something - but of course, the city is more famous |
| 19 Febrero 2008 13:35 |
| I agree with Maribel.
But i would use "travel" to milano |

| Done!
pias,
can you tell me if this is okay now?
I'll take your word for it this time! |

piasCantidad de envíos: 8113 | Yes Ian, its ok now!
There are still some missing Punctuations in the source. But I guess that it’s not necessary to edit, its understandable now!
The correct source:
â€Du är en intressant människa och du gör mig nervös (pÃ¥ ett bra satt), och du fÃ¥r mig att skratta (och det är ett plus). När ska vi resa till Milano?
Du behöver inte prata för dina ögon pratar.â€

| Nice work everybody!
By the way, it was possible (before) to specify source language what happened |

| Hi Henrik,
I'm not sure what you mean?
Maybe you should ask Francky5591 directly, in his mailbox? |

| Hi Ian
No problem, I was not at my computer these last 48 hours, as I had to go to Marseilles
Thanks for seeing to it for me and I'm not at all worried about the points
