What munne wrote is correct: "It means ..."
But what moonshine_sunshine wrote is not correct - it should be "My name means ..." or "The meaning of my name is ...", and Sweet Dreams, yours should be "... their meanings are very pretty, too."

My name (Erik) is found in Nordic countries like Sweden, Holland, Denmark, Germany and etc, but actually it is Armenian in this case, and it means (in spoken Western Armenian) "husband". lol...

The nickname comes from a well-known British, more than famous, celebrity. It has been traveling with me a long time. It reminds me I like adventure and books/stories.

My real name is George. It means a lot of things, but the most important significance is ME. The other less important are coming from Gaia Ge. And this could be translated like "man of family", "base of the Earth", "farmer"(might be in a watermelon plantation).
You can call me as you like it. Although, I prefer to be called George, because "as you like it" is too long.
