Hello Mideia! When I was new here I didn't know where it came from, but Thatavieira explained me that it's the Catalan and Spanish form of Provençal Mireio. Meaning: "to admire."

My nickname "Via Luminosa" is latin and means "Way of Light". :-) Usually I use the name "Lumina", but when I registered the system told me this name was already taken.

My nick is pias and someone told me that it's "sink" in portuguese.

Mine, Perijove is the greatest distance between the moon and the earth while in elliptical orbit. I really don't know why I chose it but I think it might be because I had an obsession with astronomy a while back.I just love it because of the way it sounds.
